New Marantz SR7007 AV Receiver to impress demanding stereo and home cinema lovers alike
Jul 31, 2012
Marantz is proud to unveil the new flagship AV receiver, the SR7007. Built on the success of the highly acclaimed SR7005, this new home cinema centre owns the traditional Marantz philosophy combining unique technologies, a wonderfully elegant appearance and renowned playback quality.
The first thing to strike you about this all-new AV receiver is the stylish aluminium front panel with illuminated porthole display and a second display hidden behind the trap door. It’s the perfect reflection of classic aesthetics including the traditional Marantz star. The next thing to strike is the staggering audio quality, which is quite simply an intoxicating mix of effortless power, amazing detail and sensational depth: all thanks to the use of current feedback technology, unique Marantz HDAM pre-amplification and a massively muscled discrete power amplification of 7 x 125W into 8 ohm. This superior audio performance can be enjoyed for all your music sources. The SR7007 has a Phono MM input for vinyl fans, an iPod-digital-compatible USB input and RJ45 network jack for digital music fans. The latter means you can connect it to tens of thousands of Internet radio stations, stream directly from your iDevice via the built-in AirPlay feature, access online music services such as last.fm, or playback files from your PC-based music library.
The SR7007 will be available in black and silver-gold and will be hitting stores from end of August.
