Marantz introduces the SR-Series Home Theatre Receivers for 2012/13.
The Marantz SR5007, SR6007 and SR7007 are the latest additions to the new 2012/13 range. This new SR line combines versatility with power to create utterly breath-taking quality, delivering a world-class cinema experience.
In addition to its unique front panel design, this new line of receivers offers an extensive range of comprehensive features. These include seven channels of amplification, two subwoofer outputs, 7.1 channel analog inputs, 7.2 channel analog preamp outputs, Dolby Pro Logic llz front height channel processing, analog to HDMI video conversion, and both 1080p and 4k upscaling. All three models boast an improved user interface with Setup Assistant, Audyssey MultEQ XT speaker setup/room correction system, as well as incorporating 12 volt triggers and RS232 ports for custom installed control system. There's also a front-panel USB port on each, which can handle high-res audio formats, including FLAC files.
In keeping with the changing ways consumers access their music content, all three are network-enabled, providing extensive media player functions such as internet radio and music access from services, such as Pandora and Sirius XM as well as access to content stored on local network-connected devices, such as PCs and NAS drives. The addition of Apple AirPlay allows users to stream music directly from a Mac, PC or favourite iOS device also.
