Ditch the remote, speak your commands

HEOS-enabled Marantz AV receivers now feature cutting-edge voice control, thanks to the integration of Amazon Alexa.

Marantz has added Amazon Alexa hands-free voice control to its impressive line-up of AV receivers that support HEOS.

Spoken commands can now be used by Marantz owners to control their HEOS-enabled products – no need to open the HEOS app on an iOS, Android™ or Amazon Fire™ device.

Simply enable the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill within the Alexa app and you'll be able to ask Alexa to play a song, an artist or a playlist, and the tracks will be streamed through your Marantz AV receiver. Available music services include Amazon Music and TuneIn, with more services still to come.

Users with a multi-room system formed of other HEOS products can even pause the tunes and resume them in another room.

The majority of Marantz's current range of AV receivers have HEOS built in. Supported models are the AV7703, NR1508, NR1608, NR1509, NR1609, SR5012, SR6012, SR7011, SR7012 AV7704, SR8012.

“HEOS and Amazon Alexa customers will be able to enjoy the convenience of the Alexa voice service plus high-quality home audio—getting us one step closer to our goal of enabling Alexa voice control on every device within customers' homes,” said Steve Rabuchin, Vice President, Amazon Alexa.

The HEOS Home Entertainment Skill is now available to download through the Alexa app for iOS, Android™ or Amazon Fire™ devices. Click here to find out more
